Delivery and returns

MILAAU furniture is made with great attention to detail, including when it is prepared for transport. Each order is secured according to its size, construction and destination.

Delivery of large furniture

Larger pieces, such as tables, chests of drawers and cabinets, are usually shipped on a pallet. Depending on the product, the furniture may also be secured in a protective crate or a custom-made transport structure.

Standard delivery covers transport to the specified address, usually to the entrance of the building or the first architectural obstacle.

Delivery with carrying inside, unpacking or assembly may be arranged individually before purchase.

Receiving your delivery

We pack our furniture with great care, so damage in transit is very rare. Even so, we recommend checking the condition of the shipment when it arrives.

If the packaging shows visible signs of damage, it is best to take photographs before unpacking and ask the carrier to prepare a damage report.

After unpacking, check the furniture itself as well. If you notice any damage, contact us and send photographs of the packaging and the product. We will help you with the next steps.

Returns

Products available for dispatch that have not been made or modified to an individual order may be returned within 14 days of receipt.

The returned product must be unused, complete and appropriately secured for transport. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Furniture ordered in a selected configuration, dimension or finish is made individually after the order is placed and is not held as stock.

Delivery cost and scope

The delivery cost and scope are shown in the cart or confirmed individually before the order is accepted for fulfilment.

Deliveries of large furniture, international deliveries, hard-to-reach locations and additional services such as carrying inside or assembly may require individual arrangements.
